8.6 Original beer pours a nice, clear golden body with lots of soapy head frothing at the top, looking very appealing from the get-go. The scent isn’t so bad either, with sharp malt characteristics and noble hops on the nose. For more than 100 years Tui was kept a secret through-out the bars of the Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay until it was released for national distribution in 1998.
